We seek to increase our supply-chain assets on the ground, with our long term objective being to control the assets involved in the full supply chain.

For example, in Madagascar, we have invested in a lubricant blend plant that produces and distributes Agip ENI lubricants to consumers. We are also importing, bottling, selling and promoting the use of liquid petroleum gas (LPG). It is known and accepted that increased usage of LPG will dramatically reduce the de-forestation that is taking place in the country. We seek to encourage non-governmental organisations (NGOs) to assist us in the supply of cookers to communities and market vendors as part of our efforts to reduce the use of charcoal.
Other initiatives and projects are being studied and developed.
